Digital Education & Career Pathways for Underprivileged Youth

Five years ago, VARITE launched a transformative initiative through its foundation, the Shanti Gyan Foundation, focused on bridging the digital divide for underprivileged children in India. In collaboration with a local non-profit organization, we:
- Established computer labs in underserved schools
- Appointed dedicated computer teachers
- Designed and implemented a custom curriculum for grades 5 - 12
- Delivered hands-on digital literacy to hundreds of students
But our commitment didn’t stop at education - we extended it into employment. VARITE offered internship opportunities to promising students from the program, and proudly hired 10 underprivileged youth into full-time roles within the company.
Inclusion of People with Disabilities (PwD)

At VARITE, inclusion is a lived value. We’ve successfully hired team members with hearing and speech impairments into our recruitment sourcing and data analytics teams. In partnership with the Winvinaya Foundation, we’ve also:
- Conducted sensitivity training for internal teams and clients
- Enabled clients to hire from the PwD talent pool
- Advocated for inclusive hiring practices across global engagements
These efforts reflect our commitment to building workplaces where every ability is recognized, respected, and empowered.
Technology Training for Underserved Communities

In collaboration with our product-based clients, VARITE is actively delivering technology training programs for individuals from underserved communities in India. These initiatives are designed not just to educate - but to equip participants with employable skills that align with real-world industry demands. Our programs focus on:
- Hands-on training in technologies such as Adobe Media Products, Tally Accounting Software, and AutoCAD.
- Career readiness and job placement pathways into high-growth industries
- Bridging the gap between corporate innovation and community empowerment
By combining technical instruction with mentorship and industry exposure, we’re helping individuals unlock new opportunities, build confidence, and step into meaningful careers.

Inspired by Cisco’s Protégé Supplier Development Program, VARITE adopted the Multiplier Effect in 2019—a grassroots initiative encouraging every employee and consultant to refer at least one exceptionally qualified candidate from an underrepresented background. This program has significantly expanded our diverse talent pool and helped us achieve strong representation across our workforce:
